Do you have a deep and abiding passion for diving? Or, do you merely love it with all of your heart?  If so, you should consider doing what you love for a living: become a PADI Divemaster.

During the PADI Divemaster program, you learn dive leadership skills through both classroom and independent study. You complete water skills and stamina exercises, as well as training exercises that stretch your ability to organize and solve problems as well as help others improve their scuba.

Diver prerequisites

l   18 years old

l   Certified as Advanced Open Water Diver and PADI Rescue Diver. 

l   Logged 60 scuba dives.

l   Completed EFR Primary and Secondary Care training within 24 months.

l   Medically evaluated and cleared for diving by a physician within 12 months.

Course including

l   Complete knowledge development segments and including Knowledge Review in the PADI Divemaster Manual and pass the Divemaster Final Exam.  

l   Create an Emergency Assistant Plan for a designed dive site.

l   Complete waterskill exercises.

l   Complete a diver rescue assessment.

l   Complete the dive skills workshop and assessment.

l   Complete practical application skills.

l   Complete divemaster-conducted program workshops.

l   Complete practical assessment.

l   Meet the professionalism criteria.
